about My Works
Form of my works is Painting from Record of Action that printed by a word prcesser on canvas. Record of Action is written by many people and me, on canvas which is painted by many stratum of white colors. My Record of Action have been started since 1984. One canvas is one month. The number of canvas is about 400. At the same time, I am inviting Record of Action of other people. Already, I have gathered Record of Action of 300. Of course, the number of canvas will increase from now on.In all of my installation(painting) work, I explore the interplay between expression and reality.
reasons to use Record of Action
I doubt a work to have been concluded in only world of art. I hope to involve many people except art side. For that reason,I have used Record of Action of other people. Record of Action is general form used by many people. When the viewer watched my work,at once they back to reality. I think that my works is success to connect daily and art.
But,most important thing is a announced Record of Action in public space. I like a world of Gilles Deleuze. Like him,I think only human being floats in the air. However, I believe Record of Action of each people. I think that we get out of opposition of men and women,the country and town,a nation and so on,by announcements. Record of Action is confidently important machine(material). In spite of there are many works made by language, Bsrbara Kruger,Jenny Holzer,Joseph Kosuth..., I use Record of Action as material. And,it will flow variously by announcements. It is my space.2,Apl,1996

I am collecting records of various persons' action now. 400 or more persons have already participated. However, since I want to collect more, I think that I want you to surely participate.
