“Hatsuden” (Private power generation)
25 November 2011 until 29 November 2011
Exhibition place: Kakian, Tokyo, Japan

We hold the exhibition on the themes of private power generation and GOGAKU.
GOGAKU is the study meeting which started independently at the farmhouse etc. until the educational system of Meiji starts.

Although Japan had closed the country to Meiji, the Black Ships came and opened a country to foreign intercourse.
Japan was then confused.

Similarly, in Japan in 2011 a large earthquake has occurred.
There was a motion that a study meeting would be held also in the earthquake disaster of this Japan MACHIDA.

What is exhibited is a work on the theme of children's "private power generation."
And the overseas artist pained by an earthquake disaster of Japan sent the work free.
Charity exhibition is carried out and their work is contributed for the Red Cross.

As for KAKIAN, Mr. Suzuki lived till these days.
That is a very old and warm house.
Let's enjoy ourselves together with us.
